Sun 9th September 12.30pm Cup Prelim Round: Welton 4 – 1 Ruskington Lions

We treated today’s game as a friendly, trying different children in different positions.  We were successful in this and have moved on to the next round.  This will be 23rd September against Spilsby.  Excellent goals by two stunning players Thomas Cliffe and Jack Alexander 2 each.  Well done to the whole team.

Sat 8th September 12.30pm Friendly: Welton 5 – 2 Greenbank

Excellent welcome back to Jack Alexander with a hat tick.  Greenbank are one of the best teams in the A league, being united as one with Euan and Thomas from the A team to make one unbeatable Welton team.  Great goal from Thomas Crowther and the fifth goal being the first for Cristian in an amazing style.

2nd September 2.15.pm: Welton 2 –  0 Moorlands Railway

A wonderful start to the season excellent goal from Richard on a corner followed up by Kris Evans with the second Goal.  Jack Taylor keeping a clean sheet.  I have the defence of my team to thank for keeping Railway out of the game.
